Osteopathy in Toronto.
Gentle, hands-on osteopathic manual therapy from Anand Ondhia, an OSTCAN board-certified osteopathic manual practitioner who also trains, competes and teaches. I look at how your whole body moves and compensates, then work to help it move the way it should.

Who I see
Grapplers and athletes
I'm a BJJ black belt who still competes, so I know what a stacked guard pass does to a neck and what a heel hook does to a knee. Treatment and a plan to keep you training.
Yoga students and teachers
I've trained yoga teachers since 2013. If a pose has started to hurt, or your practice has stalled, we'll find out why.
Desk-bound and stiff
Long days at a screen, a sore back, tight hips, a neck that won't turn. You don't need to be an athlete to get a lot out of treatment.
Anyone after a whole-body view
Pain in one place often starts somewhere else. I assess before every session and explain what I find in plain words.
What to expect
Your first visit starts with a conversation about your history, your goals and what's bothering you. Then I assess how you move, and treat with gentle hands-on techniques for the joints, muscles and connective tissue. You leave with a few simple things to do at home, often drawn from yoga and mobility work.

What patients say
Anand has saved me numerous times. I'm a professional BJJ athlete and professor, and osteopathy with him always helps. He's also a black belt in BJJ, so he understands the mechanics of the movements and knows exactly what is the best option for me.
His osteopathic treatments are gentle but powerful, focusing on spine alignment and mobility. Anand always assesses before each session, and I've noticed real improvement in my mobility. I really recommend his holistic approach!
